A straightened smile could significantly boost your attractiveness and confidence levels both personally and professionally. Beyond aesthetics, getting properly aligned teeth also means maintaining better oral hygiene since they are much easier to brush and floss. It could also mean improved chewing function from a corrected bite.

Dr. Serena combines her love of working with children with her expertise in paediatric dentistry. She believes in prevention of oral diseases through educating parents on oral hygiene and diet, and through establishing good daily dental routines for kids. Her goal for every child is to make their visit fun and relaxed. She feels most fulfilled when her patients have healthy, cavity free teeth, as she believes this will provide them a strong springboard to continue to care for their oral health into adulthood and old age. After all, eating is one of the greatest pleasures in life! She takes a holistic approach to dental care, as she appreciates the nuances in treatment options depending on a child’s overall health, development, behaviour, and social factors. In her free time, she loves to read, explore different cultures and cuisines, and to be out in nature – scuba diving, hiking, and exploring the world.
Dr. Serena has received extensive training in paediatric sedation, behaviour management, general anaesthesia, paediatric medicine, and interceptive orthodontics. Dr. Serena also enjoyed working at the San Ysidro Health Centre in San Diego, where she focused on treating children with special needs.
Dr. Serena is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Paediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the Singapore Society for Paediatric Dentistry.
